Yesterday was the first day of spring..and even though I love winter (fresh snow, cozy evenings in, warm coffee shops) I'm so happy spring is back. The longer daylight makes driving home from work at least a little less miserable..knowing I have now two whole hours of sun instead of none.
Sean and I celebrated the first day of spring by throwing a little evening outdoor dinner in honor of our amazing friends and their one year anniversary of being married. Dinner was amazing (thanks to Sean)..and the hours we spent trying to spruce up our backyard out of hibernation and overgrown weeds was worth it. It made for the perfect atmosphere to welcome some warmth and light back into our lives :)
